Join group for parks

A PUBLIC spaces working group has been set up by Woodcote Parish Council and residents can join it.

It will consider all aspects of the management of the public spaces to maximise the use and benefit to residents.

The public spaces include the village green, including the car park, play area, benches, bins, trees and playing field, the Folly Field and other land held by the council.

It will be comprised of a minimum of four members appointed annually at the annual council meeting, with a quorum of three.

The group will support the parish clerk in implementing relevant policies, monitor the general condition of the public spaces, seek views from residents and submit proposals.

The group has no specific powers as all proposals will be approved by the council. For more information and to join, email clerk@
