Phoenix Rugby Club is encouraging any women inspired by England Women’s recent World Cup victory to come down to the club and try out the sport.

The club have launched the Phoenix Flames Women’s Rugby team and are set to host a free taster session for those interested in playing on Sunday, October 26.

The session will take place at the club in Institute Road from 2pm to 3.30pm and will be followed by a Prosecco Afternoon tea and social with the rest of the team.

“We’re a unique group of ladies aged from 19-50, made up of Uni students, mothers, business ladies; of all shapes, sizes and abilities, and whether you want to play full contact rugby, tag rugby or just to get fit and make new friends, there’s a place for everyone at Phoenix Flames, so come on down,” said club captain Lia Carey.

The club is based in Institute Road, Taplow, SL60NS.
