THE organisers of this summer’s week-long Henley Jazz Workshop have announced details of the tutors who have signed up to pass on their musical wisdom.
Now in its fourth year, the event runs from Monday, July 25, to Friday, July 29, at Valley Road School.
Organisers Liz Jones and Carol Crowdy said: “We will be welcoming renowned musician Karen Sharp as tutor for the first time. The legendary Denny Ilett will be back after a year off and he and Karen will be working alongside established bass and guitar tutor Andy Crowdy, Hamburg saxophonist Thomas l’Etienne and flute, sax and keyboard player Annie Parker.”
On the Friday evening the school’s main hall will be transformed into a jazz club with a performance for friends and family.
Places for the week are £300, with bookings being taken now. Visit the website www.henleyjazzworkshop.com or email liz@ejahenley.co.uk or carol@ace-lpm.com
