A MUSICAL revue celebrating the words and music of Broadway composer Jerry Herman is being staged at the Oakwood Theatre in Woodley next week.

Showtune runs from Tuesday (October 25) to Saturday, October 29, at the Headley Road venue.

A spokesman for the Sainsbury Singers, which is putting the show on, said: “Showtune explores Herman’s poetical lyrics outside of their original context and breathes new life into his life-affirming songs.”

Tickets are £15 (£12.50 concessions). Three can be purchased for the price of two on Tuesday. To book online, go to www.ticketsource.co.uk/sainsburysingers
