EVERY song written by Robert Schumann and Clara Schumann will be performed over the 16 days of the 15th Oxford Lieder festival, which opens today (Friday).
The Schumann Project, which falls on the 160th anniversary of the German composer’s death, places his works for voice alongside an array of his other works and songs by his friends and contemporaries.
Passes for the whole festival are priced £460 and a week-long pass is £280. To book, call 01865 591276 or visit the festival website at www.oxfordlieder.co.uk.
