Rogue cow causes havoc on A404

A cow (but probably not the one in the story)

The antics of a rogue cow left traffic unable to moo-ve on the A404 last night.

In udderly unbelievable scenes, police hoofed it over to the dual carriage way, near Bisham, shortly after 9pm to try and catch the cow.

Officers from Thames Valley Police had to close the road while they attempted to restore order.

The cow was rescued at the road reopened at about 10.30pm after a farmer was enlisted to help.
