Farm shop charity night

a farm in Britwell Salome held an open evening to raise money for Children in Need on Thursday night last week. The farm shop at Red Lion Farm was boosted by local producers offering everything from Christmas puddings to sausage frying pans. Eight businesses had stalls, including the Wine Barn from Watlington and The Maker Space from Nuffield. About 100 people attended the event, which raised more than £200 from donations and the sale of drinks and pork and venison rolls. Red Lion Farm is a family-owned, mixed farm which has been running for more than 25 years. The shop was opened in 2008 and stocks local produce.
