THE minibus service in Sonning Common has released its December timetable.
The Fish volunteer centre offers shopping and leisure trips to residents who have difficulty finding their own means of transport.
The bus will visit Tesco in Henley on Monday 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. There will be a visit to Reading town centre on Tuesdays 2 and 31. On Thursday 4, there will be a trip to Waitrose in Henley.
On Thursday 18, the bus will visit Henley charter market. On Tuesday 16, the bus will go to Morrisons in Reading with a pick-up time of 10am.
Passengers will be picked up from home at 9am. Each trip costs £4 or is free with a bus pass.
The bus also takes residents on a number of social trips in and around the village and will pick up passengers from home.
These trips are as follows: Sonning Common library for its social mornings on Friday 5, 12 and 19. Pick-up is 10am and return is at noon and is free of charge.
Fish’s Christmas tea party is in the village hall on Monday 8 with pick-up from 1.15pm and return at 4pm free of charge.
On Tuesday 9, the bus will visit Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot with pick-up at 9am and return at 2.30pm.
On Wednesday 17, it will make a trip to a Christmas pub lunch with pick-up from 11.30am. This needs to be booked by December 6. Cost is £6.
On Thursday 11, the bus will go to Christmas Lights at Kew. The cost is £10 and admission to the exhibition is free. Pick-up is 3.45pm and return at 7.30pm.
