RECORD entries to the annual Charvil village quiz raised £700 for two horticultural charities.
More than 100 people from Charvil, Twyford and the surrounding area made up 13 teams.
The event was organised by the Twyford and Ruscombe Horticultural Association and rounds included, general knowledge and music through the decades.
The winning team was led by Fiona Hallett and each member received a dianthus plant.
The proceeds were split equally between the Ridgeline Trust and Green Health Thames Valley.
