JACQUELINE Aviolet will give a talk called “I am a tulip, what are you?” at a meeting of the Greenfingers gardening club, Goring, on Wednesday, September 6.
The competition will be for vase of your best dahlia blooms.
On Wednesday, September 30 from 10am to noon we will hold a bulb and plant sale in Goring Free Church hall, High Street, Goring.
Come and buy your spring flowering bulbs and plants for next year.
There will also be a selection of second hand gardening tools for sale and a tombola stall. Tea, coffee and homemade cakes will be available.
Greenfingers meets on the first Wednesday of every month (except August and January) at 7.30pm at Storton Lodge, Icknield Road, Goring. Visitors are always welcome at a charge of £5. Refreshments are served and are free to members and visitors.There is a plant stall, raffle and competition table.
