Whitchurch & Goring Heath History Society

10:30AM, Monday 13 May 2024

OUR last meeting before the summer will be at Goring Heath parish hall on Thursday, May 16 when we want to look at the last 70 years in the area covered by the history society.

It was in 1952 that the new parish of Goring Heath was formed from parts of Whitchurch and Goring parishes.

How have the villages changed? What do we remember of how life was when we first came here?

This is an informal evening with coffee from 7pm, discussion from 7.30pm. There is no charge for non-members.

In June and July, we go on members-only outings and reconvene in September.
