A Maidenhead drug dealer has been jailed after he robbed an expensive bike from a person in the grounds of a special educational needs school in the town.

Tishenne Cripps, 22, of White Paddock, was sentenced to three years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a string of offences at Reading Crown Court on Monday.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Peter Hindley, of the Priority Crime Team in Maidenhead, said the sentence showed ‘offenders like Cripps are brought to justice’.

On 18 October 2024, Cripps followed a person who was riding a Surron scrambler bike to meet a friend at Manor Green School in Cannon Lane.

When at the school grounds, Cripps exited his vehicle and robbed the victim of the bike.

He was arrested over the theft at his home address the next day, where police officers uncovered a haul of money and knives, as well as class A and B drugs.

DC Peter Hindley said: “Drug supply causes real harm to our communities, exploiting vulnerable people and fuelling crime.

“This operation shows our commitment to tackling those who deal drugs and ensuring offenders like Cripps are brought to justice.

“We will continue to disrupt criminal networks and protect the public from the damage they cause."

Cripps pleaded guilty to:

  • One count of robbery
  • Two counts of possession with intent to supply a class B drug, namely cannabis
  • One count of possession of criminal property
  • One count of possession with intent to supply a class A drug, namely cocaine
  • Three counts of possession of a weapon in a private place
