ORGANISERS of the Henley Fringe festival are appealing for film-makers to submit examples of their work.
This years festival - the seventh - will run from July 21 to 26 and will feature films for the first time.
There will be films from around the world, including shorts, feature films and
animation. Fringe founder Jo Southwell said: “I know there are lots of budding film-makers in Henley and we want to show their films.
“We will hold a special Henley-produced film section so that we can screen the work of local film-makers. We are really keen to receive film ideas from children and schools.”
The films will be shown at the Regal Picturehouse from July 25 to 27.
Meanwhile, the line-up for the rest of the festival is almost complete.
Confirmed shows and acts include Comedy on Water, FalconGrange, Tom Rosenthal, The Rudy Vees, Theatre Bugs, Women of an Uncertain Age, Debbie Bridge, Breathe Out Theatre, The Railway Children, Dickens Ghost Stories and Naomi Vallance.
Tickets will go on sale next month. For more information on how to submit a film, send an email to info@henleyfringe.org
