Festival films wanted

ORGANISERS of the Henley Fringe festival are appealing for film-makers to submit examples of their work.

This year’s festival — the seventh — will run from July 21 to 26 and will feature films for the first time.

There will be films from around the world, including shorts, feature films and animation.

Fringe founder Jo Southwell said: “I know there are lots of budding film-makers in Henley and we want to show their films.

“We will hold a special ‘Henley-produced’ film section so that we can screen the work of local film-makers. We are really keen to receive film ideas from children and schools.”
