BRAKSPEAR is to again brew a honey-flavoured beer to raise money for a bee protection charity.
Honey Bee, a 3.7 per cent alcohol golden ale which was first made in 2015, will go on sale again later this month.
It was created by head brewer Malcolm Mayo at the company’s micro-brewery at the Bull pub in Bell Street, Henley.
This year, 10p from every pint sold will be donated to Friends of the Earth’s Bee Cause, which aims to protect the insects from threats such as loss of habitat, harmful pesticides and climate change.
