THE Three Tuns pub in Henley has been added to the Michelin guide.

The Market Place venue re-opened the Brakspear pub under the management of Barry Wagner, who owns the neighbouring Gabriel Machin butchers, and restaurateur Nigel Sutcliffe in June, with Scott Smith leading the kitchen.

The guide compliments the pub on its “relaxed vibe” and “unfussy food”.

It says: “Compact yet characterful, there’s plenty to love about this bijou pub overlooking the main square in Henley.

“Keep an eye on the ever-changing ‘Butcher’s Board’ in particular, for the likes of lamb chops or bavette steak frites.”
