A CO-WORKING café in Henley has closed part of its business.
The Green Room opened in the former Victoria Pub in Market Place, behind the town hall in May last year to provide a creative space for venue hire.
But in a statement shared online it said that it was closing the
co-working part of its business with immediate effect.
It said: “This is due to an increase in costs and lack of trading and customers.
“Therefore, we will not be open Monday to Thursday daytime moving forwards. However, this doesn’t mean that we’re completely closing shop.
“We are still going to be open for events, available to hire for private parties and events and we will continue to take boardroom bookings.”
The venue is run by Jayson Jaurigue, the owner of music label 8Ray, which will now be using it as its headquarters during the day.
The statement added: “We look forward to seeing lots of you at the monthly events, private parties and being able to support your businesses by providing the boardroom for you and your teams to use.”
