JULIET STEVENSON and Robert Hardy are the actors who will be reading Christmas poems and prose at the annual Coming Of Christmasconcert at Dorchester Abbey next Thursday, December 12.
Stevenson is best known for her leading role in the 1991 film Truly, Madly, Deeply while Hardy became a household name for his role in the long-running TV series All Creatures Great And Small. The concert, now in its 19th year, will also feature seasonal music from the Choir of New College, Oxford conducted by Edward Higginbottom.
Tickets are £20 and include festive refreshments. All proceeds go towards Hft Oxfordshire, a charity which provides support and promotes independence for people with learning disabilities throughout the region.
