THE South Chiltern Choral Society performs Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Zadok the Priest by Handel and Purcell’s Come Ye Sons of Art.

Professional soloists and an orchestra will accompany the choir at the Great Hall, Reading University, at 6pm on Sunday, March 29.



Dido and Aeneas is based on Virgil’s Aenid and tells of the love of Dido, Queen of Carthage, for the Trojan hero Aeneas.
