THE inaugural meeting of the Henley Ukulele Group will be held at the Bird in Hand pub in Greys Road on Monday from 7.30pm to 9pm.

The session has been organised by musician and entertainer Kate Cooper.

She says it is a drop-in group so no membership or registration is required, just you and your ukulele.

The group will welcome absolute beginners as well as those with experience and is designed to be fun.

The plan is to make this a regular drop-in session from January on the first and third Monday of each month.

For more information, call Ms Cooper on 07751 239487.
