Uplifting choruses catch on

AWARD-WINNING folk band The Changing Room will perform at Norden Farm next Thursday.

The band are ambassadors for collaboration and social singing and their rootsy, Celtic-infused songs feature rousing choruses and catchy hooks that are easy to sing along to.

The Changing Room comprises Sam Kelly, Tanya Brittain, Jamie Francis, Evan Carson and Morrigan Palmer-Brown. They play traditional folk instruments of accordion, guitar, bodhran, harp and banjo.

Their debut album was listed on the Daily Telegraph’s Best Folk Albums of 2015 and the band has been championed by Mark Radcliffe, Mike Harding and Clare Balding.

They were the winner of the 2015 International Pan Celtic Song Contest.
