AWARD-WINNING folk duo Gilmore & Roberts will perform at Nettlebed Village Club on Monday.
Katriona Gilmore, who plays fiddle and mandolin, and guitarist Jamie Roberts have been nominated three times at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
They met while studying at the Leeds College of Music and released their debut album in 2008.
Since then, the duo have toured Europe and Canada, played some of the UK’s biggest acoustic festivals and toured with folk rock heavyweights Fairport Convention, while picking up accolades on the way.
Last year saw the release of their fourth album, Conflict Tourism, which appeared on several end-of-year best album lists and received national airplay on BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6music.
