A MUSIC festival in Roke is thought to have raised about £7,000 for charity.

Twenty-two bands performed for free at the Home Sweet Home pub in Roke, near Benson, over two-and-a-half days.

The proceeds will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Andrew Goss, one of the organisers said: “It was brilliant, probably the best year in terms of bands and attendance — we had more than 1,000 people.
