JEUX d’Esprit is back with another show, By The Sleepy Lagoon, in aid of the Chiltern Centre, writes Jill Richardson.

Think Desert Island Discs… One person chooses eight records to take on a desert island. Now think about eight special people who each choose one video to share by a sleepy lagoon.

The eight people have all been chosen for their contribution to the Henley community. They are Angelina Jones of Henley Toad Patrol, Gail Rosier of Acorn Music Theatre Company, Wendy Hawkins of Henley Choral Society, Amelia Ash and Paul Barrett of the Chiltern Centre, Sally Rankin of Greener Henley, Tim Prior of Nomad and Patrick Mulcahy of Henley Lions Club. During the show they will talk about their projects to presenter Tim Harling and say why they have chosen their particular video.

It’s going to be a fun afternoon full of inspiring ideas and music from Dvorak to Toni Basil. Do come along to the Elizabeth Room at Henley town hall on Sunday, November 23. To reserve seats contact jillrichardson31@gmail.com
