THE Cats Whiskers Boarding Cattery has been open for two years, although this is our third summer season.
We realised early on that we were going to be very busy with many new customers and many returning customers from when we ran the cattery before. We have even had cats that boarded in our previous cattery more than 12 years ago.
It’s lovely to see the elderly cats alive and well after all these years, and their owners still getting the pleasure of their beloved cat. Because of the demand for places last year, we decided to increase the size of the cattery, which in now situated in a half courtyard design with a lovely garden area, with our resident ducks and chickens.
All the chalets overlook the garden and fields beyond with deer and wild rabbits, all of which keep your cats interested in their surroundings. We have also made the reception area more comfortable for cat parents and better parking.
Each suite has its own inside area with a radiator and heated bed, the outside area has a climbing tree which all the cats just love to sit on and watch the world go by.
The cattery is built to the new European regulations in terms of being warm in winter and cool in summer, with the latest design for hygiene and safety. We provide all food and can administer medication.
Please book early for October half term and Christmas as places are limited. Call (01491) 577711 or visit www.catswhiskerscatteryhotel.com
