The latest public notices in the Maidenhead Advertiser includes more details about Norden Farm’s annual Lantern Parade.
Road closures will be in place as the Maidenhead Christmas Lantern Parade returns at the start of December.
The popular community event will see hundreds of people walk through the town centre carrying illuminated handcrafted lanterns.
Organisers Norden Farm had to cancel last year’s event due to Storm Darragh but attention immediately turned to preparing for the 2025 parade.
The event is now set to take place on Saturday, December 6.
Windsor and Maidenhead council has confirmed a number of road closures will be in place on the day of the parade.
The following roads will be shut from 4pm to 7pm:

Traffic
A section of Maidenhead Road in Cookham will be shut next week while gas mains replacement works are carried out.
The road will be shut between its junction with Whyteladyes Lane and Lightlands Lane from 00:01 on Monday, October 27 until 23:59 on Sunday, November 2.
An alternative route will be available via Maidenhead Road, Cannondown Road, Switchback Road North, Gardner Road, Cookham Road, St Cloud Way, Bridge Road, Ray Mead Road, Lower Cookham Road, Sutton Road, Cookham High Street, The Pound and Maidenhead Road.
A closure will be in place in Ray Mill Road West next week.
The road is set to close between the boundaries of number 49 and number 51 Ray Mill Road West.
Drivers will be unable to use this part of the road from 00:01 on Monday, October 27 until Friday, October 31.
The closure has been authorised so a new gas connection can be installed.
