Privacy PolicyIn the public notices this week, there is a road closure, a footpath closure and an application for works on a listed building in Henley.
Footpath
A footpath in Henley is set to be closed all day and night for a few weeks to make way for reconstruction works for between St Marys Church and New Street.
The closure comes into force on Monday, March 16 and will continue until works finish on April 3. In theory, the closure could last up to six months if necessary.
Planning
South Oxfordshire District Council wants permission to do some work on Henley town hall in Market Place (ref P26/S0423).
The plan is to replace some guttering and adjust two drain pipes, so rainwater flows away from the building properly.
Traffic
A stretch of road in Binfield Heath will close for more than a month to allow fibre optic cable works to take place.
Kiln Lane will be shut from the junction to Common Lane to the side of Keepers Cottage from Tuesday, March 2 until Wednesday, April 29. The closure will operate 24 hours a day.
Works may finish earlier if completed ahead of schedule.
