SONNING Common and Peppard A won 8-2 at Our Lady of Peace B in their latest Reading and District League match thanks to trebles from Gary Morgan and Ed Lush. Jamie Barlow picked up a singles win while just missing out against Chris West 11-5, 6-11, 11-9, 8-11, 8-11 as the team remain in fifth place in Division 1.
In Division 2, Sonning Common and Peppard B were held to a 5-5 draw by Sonning Sports B with Danny Dockree and Simon Berry both winning twice. Berry lost his 100 per cent record when beaten 11-9, 11-8 ,11-2 by the Sports’ James Miller.
Anthony Reeve won twice in the C teams 7-3 defeat at Kingfisher D. Reeve enjoyed a thrilling 9-11, 10-12, 11-8, 11-9, 11-9 comeback win against Muharrem Aydin.
In Division 4, Mike Casserley and Alistair Scott both won twice as the E team drew 5-5 with Our Lady of Peace I before a heavy 10-0 loss at Our Lady of Peace F.
