Rotary Club of Henley

THE Rotary Club of Henley has installed Jane Bertelli as its president for 2024/25.

Jane, a teacher and potter who lives in Sonning Common, received the chain of office from outgoing president Craig Wilson at a handover meeting held at the Henley Sea Cadets’ headquarters, off Wargrave Road.

Craig was president for two consecutive years during which the club has grown in numbers.

It has become a regular presence at the Thames Traditional Boat Festival, held on Fawley Meadows each July, and been closely involved in river clean-up campaigns.

The club has also raised thousands of pounds for charity through its annual music night and mulled wine stall at the Henley Christmas Festival.

There is always room for new members who want to give back to society.
