Free repair cafe workshops

A FREE mini workshop will be held on Saturday, October 4 in celebration of International Repair Café Month.

The workshops will take place alongside the regular repair café at Springwater Church in Blounts Court Road.

All materials are provided and booking is essential by next Sunday. The workshops are as follows: Bike maintenance — 10am to 12.30pm. Includes changing a tyre/inner tube, basic bike maintenance and pre-ride checks, how to adjust the brakes and derailleur gears.

Bunting making from recycled material — 10am to 12.30pm — and how to make basic textile repairs — 10am to 10.45am. Beginners’ knitting and crochet and how to read a pattern — 10am to 12.30pm.
