9-11, 11-9, 7-11, 11-8 win against Shawnik Thakur, helped Sonning Common and Peppard B team overcome Our Lady of Peace C 6-4 in Division 2 of the Reading and District League last week.
Elsewhere, Jim Warren, Ian Davenport and Anthony Reeve all managed singles in the C team’s 7-3 defeat at Springfield A. The D team continue to struggle in Division 3 with Gerry Bacon’s 11-9, 11-8, 11-6 win all they had to show from a 9-1 defeat at Tidmarsh D.
