Trio scoop county awards

THREE Peppard Stoke Row Cricket Club youngsters were lauded at Oxfordshire’s end-of-season presentation night at St Edward’s School.

Adi Hector — who broke club sponsor The Oratory School’s record score with 202 against The Nomads during cricket week — later hit 110 in the county side’s three-day draw at Staffordshire in late July.

U13 Harry Sedgwick, who made his adult debut in helping Peppard Stoke Row 3rds to Thames Valley League promotion at the back end of the summer, was also a trophy-winner with
4-13 against Berkshire.

And Sylvie Fooks, an U11 playing for Oxfordshire U12s, recorded remarkable figures of
4-4 in an intra-county tussle with the U12 Spartans, en route to being crowned bowler of the year an age group above.
