NEW Henley Golf Club men’s captain Mike Poulson, women’s captain Sarah Deacock and junior captain Angus Smith drove off into their year of captaincy at Harpsden on Sunday.
Before the drive-in the club held a pairs foursomes competition. Ian Heggie and Martyn Metcalfe won the men’s event on countback with a score of 38 points. Mike and Sarah Pell
claimed the mixed event with a score of 43 points. Rachel Hall and Miriam Dalton triumphed in the women’s event with a score of 34 points.
