What do you think of the plan for plain cigarette packets?
“I think anything that discourages smoking, especially in the young, is a good idea. Smoking is inherently bad for you and people know what cigarettes are so they can still get them even if they aren’t labelled.”
Paul Jeffrey, 47, of Leaver Road, Henley
“I support it. I don’t smoke and don’t think it’s a great habit so anything that would discourage people from buying cigarettes is good, especially young people who might be attracted by the packaging.”
jason russell
“I don’t support it because I think people need to know what brand they’re buying or being offered by friends.”
keith allwood
“I used to be a smoker and I think if someone wants to smoke they will do so whether it’s covered up or not. It’s a waste of money when people are still going to smoke anyway.”
