“I don’t see it as a major problem. One can obviously hear the aircraft but to me it doesn’t cause a problem. I think the traffic in Henley is more obtrusive than the aircraft noise.“
“I think it is. This morning and yesterday morning the noise woke me up at 6am. My husband and I both woke up, turned to each other and said, ’there’s the Heathrow planes going over’.“
“We moved to Henley in the middle of last year and one of the things I noticed was the number of planes going overhead. I’ll wake up in the middle of the night and I do hear them going over.“
“I’ve noticed it get worse in recent years. Because Heathrow has a full capacity they have had to turn the aircraft further out, hence why we notice the noise more in Shiplake and Henley.“
“I’ve not noticed it as being a problem as such. I’ve noticed a slight increase in aircraft noise but it hasn’t detracted from the quality of living here at all.“
