PANGBOURNE Choral Society’s Christmas concert takes place on Saturday, December 13.
Alongside familiar carols, there will be John Rutter’s Angels’ Carol and Shepherd’s Pipe Carol, Sarah Quartel’s This Endris Night, a choir singing Carol of the Bells and Christmas Shopping Blues, accompanied by hand bell-ringers.
The society’s music director, Sara Benbow, says: “This programme offers a mix of old and new, plus opportunities for audience participation, which will add to the sense of celebration.”
The concert is in the Falkland Islands Memorial Chapel at Pangbourne College and starts at 7pm. It is in aid of Thatcham charity Bridge for Young People.
Tickets cost £10 adults, £5 under-18s from the charity, Garlands Organic and Natural, society members, on the door or via pangbourne choral.org.uk
