Quintet plays jazz classics with festive flavour

RENOWNED singer-songwriter Joanna Eden fronts the Chris Ingham Quintet for an evening of festive jazz, coming to the Kenton Theatre on Thursday.

“A Swinging Christmas!” rounds up the best of seasonal songs from Ella Fitzgerald, Eartha Kitt, Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby and many more.

Chris composes music for television and plays jazz piano, forming his jazz quartet in 2013. Joanna has taught musicians such as Sam Smith and counts Joni Mitchell as one of her biggest inspirations.

The show has been selling out at Ronnie Scott’s for the last 11 years.

Jazz at the Movies presents “A Swinging Christmas!” at the Kenton Theatre in New Street, Henley, on Thursday, December 18 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £27.75.
