Man killed in Gravel Hill crash named

A MAN killed in a car crash near Henley has been named.

Robert Morina, 24, died when his Audi A3 overturned on Gravel Hill, between Henley and Rotherfield Greys on May 21.

He was the sole occupant of the car which crashed at about 11.10pm and was pronounced dead at 11.28pm.

An inquest into Mr Morina death was opened at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Thursday.

Mr Morina, who is said to have been a trainee plumber from Emmer Green, died of a severe head injury.

Five arrests were made by Thames Valley Police following the incident.

Two 17-year-old boys from Reading were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving but later released with no further action.

Three men from Reading, aged 21, 22 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and of various drug offences, including intent to supply class A drugs.

They have since been released under investigation.

Tributes left at the scene of the crash referred to Mr Morina as “Len” or “Lenny” and included a large number of floral tributes, cards, Albanian flags and bottles of alcohol.

A full inquest is due to take place on October 21.
