A SPEED indication device has been moved to a new location in Peppard.

The machine, which was bought by the parish council from Oxfordshire County Council, is used along the B481 at the entrance to the village from Rotherfield Greys.

The device uses a radar to measure the speed of approaching vehicles and displays this on the sign in LED lights.

It is programmed with the local speed limit and will flash a vehicle’s speed if it exceeds the limit.

It will be moved regularly between three locations and is now near the junction of Stoke Row Road and Collier’s Lane.
