NATASHA Harris-White set a new course record after becoming the first female at the Danish Ironman Copenhagen event.
Henley’s Harris-White started strongly with the fastest time in her age category in the 3.8km swim in the sea water lagoon in a time of 58 minutes and seven seconds.
This was followed by a tough 180km bike ride on rolling terrain from Copenhagen city centre, along the coastline to the forests and countryside of North Zealand which she completed in four fours, 54 minutes and 42 seconds.
Finally, on the difficult marathon course, Harris- White recorded an impressive time of three hours, three minutes and 50 seconds in the heat and over large sections of cobblestones.
This gave her a total finish time of nine hours, two minutes and 14 seconds which took a huge four minutes off the previous course record set in 2024.
