WASTE and recycling collections in and around Henley will follow a revised schedule across the Christmas and new year period.
This will affect residents whose collections are carried out by South Oxfordshire District and Wokingham Borough councils.
Collections that were due to take place yesterday (Thursday) will take place tomorrow (Saturday).
The normal collection day of today (Friday) has been moved to Monday 29 and Monday’s collection day will now take place on Tuesday 30.
Tuesday’s collection day will now take place on Wednesday and Wednesday’s collection day has been moved to Friday.
Collections for both councils will not take place on Thursday, January 1 but will now take place on Saturday, January 3.
Next Friday’s collection day has been moved to Monday, January 5 and collections that were due for that day will take place a day later.
Collections due to take place on January 6, 7, 8 and 9 will all take place a day later.
Collections will return to the normal schedule from Monday, January 12.
Meanwhile, garden waste customers with South Oxfordshire District Council will have their collections paused until Thursday, January 8.
This service will resume from Friday, January 9, depending on the next scheduled collection.
Wokingham Borough Council will be continuing garden waste collections over the New Year period, but with respective days revised, as above.
