TRINITY HALL may have taken eight points from their match against Earley HG in an 8-8 stalemate but their opponents sit comfortably at the top of the Henley and District Billiards league.

The Henley side sit fourth in the table with 127 points from 14 games, one point behind third-placed Twyford B. Earley HG sit top with 139 points.

Meanwhile, Harpsden struggled against lowly opposition. They were defeated away at Park Inst B 10-7.

Harpsden had found themselves on the up following their last outing when they defeated basement side Park Inst A but now they are slipping down the table.

They are now in joint sixth place alongside Twyford A with 122 points after 14 games.
