Trinity shine in new cup

ONE of two new competitions inaugurated by the Henley and District League committee was played out on Monday evening.

The newly named Gabriel Machin Cup, sponsored by the Henley butchers proprietor Barry Wagner, saw Trinity defeat Park Institute 5-3, Earley B lost 6-2 to Berks Sports, Twyford A narrowly beat Racks 5-4 and Earley A lose out to Twyford B 5-3.
