Colby wraps up championship for 19th time

HENLEY and District Billiards League had their end of season finals night at the Earley Club where the singles finals brought an end to the season. The Frank Pepall Cup was won by Nigel White, the Jack Hedley Handicap was won by Ian Whiting and the Championship went to Terry Colby for the 19th time. Ian Whiting was named player of the season. Meanwhile, the all conquering Henley Trinity team were  league winners and featured in most team finals. Paul Robinson of Trinity had the season’s best break of 106.
