Racks close the gap

TRINITY remain top of the Henley and District Billiards League following Monday evening’s round of matches.

The Henley-based club defeated Park Institute 5-4 while second placed Racks closed the gap at the top of the table to two points as they beat Earley A 8-2. Elsewhere, Earley B and Twyford A drew 5-5 as did Twyford B and Berks Sports.

After 10 rounds of matches played, the league positions are as follows: 1 Trinity, 60 points; 2 Racks, 58; 3 Twyford B, 53; 4 Earley B, 51; 5 Twyford A, 50; 6 Park, 45; 7 Berks Sports, 44; 8 Earley A, 35.
