Man wanted in Windsor for emergency recall to prison after skipping curfew

Charlie Banks is wanted by police

A wanted man in Windsor is the subject of a police appeal after he was served an emergency recall to prison due to bad behaviour and breaking curfew.

Charlie Banks, 28, has failed to return for curfew since Thursday, December 4, and police have asked for help from the public for information that might help locate him.

Banks is a white man of slim build, with short brown hair and a short beard. He has been known to visit Didcot and Wantage.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Matt Richardson said: “Enquiries have been ongoing to locate Charlie Banks and we are now appealing for the public’s help in locating him.

“If you see him, do not approach him, but instead call 999."

A statement from police said: "Anyone with information on Banks’ whereabouts is asked to call 101 or make a report online, quoting reference 43250618223.

"If you do not wish to speak to the police, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, who will take your information 100 per cent anonymously."
