A 2KM fun run will be among the attractions at this year’s Bix and Assendon fete and fun dog show.
The event will be led by part-time vicar Hugh Balfour at Bix Common Field next Saturday (June 14) from 2.15pm to 4.15pm.
Attractions will include stalls, games, a raffle, music from the Watlington Concert Band and possibly tug of war.
Three rides for young children will be provided by Froud’s Fairground while Matt Richardson and Bill Pollard will give a talk and demonstration of their penny-farthings.
Dog walking service Woofits Walkies will run the dog show. There will also be tea and cakes, a bar and a barbecue.
The fete will be opened by Henley Mayor Tom Buckley.
