Fun dog show

THE Bix and Assendon fete and fun dog show will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at Bix Common Field from 2pm to 4.15pm.

The event will be opened by Mayor Tom Buckley before a “Race the Vicar” 2km fun run, for children under 11, will be led by Rev Hugh Balfour at 2.30pm.

A dog show, run by Woofits Walkies, will be held at 2.45pm and the inter-village tug-of-war will take place at 3.35pm followed by a children’s race at 3.45pm.

Attractions will include stalls, games, a raffle and live music.
