DESIGNER Kaffe Fassett returns to Henley next week to present a lecture and slide show on his work.

Fasset’s talk on Glorious Colour is at Lady Sew and Sew in Farm Road on Wednesday, May 8.

The presentation will focus on work from his latest projects, including patchwork quilts, fabrics, needlepoint, mosaic, painting and knitting design.

Fassett, who has been awarded a Turner Medal for his work, is known for his flamboyant use of colour.

Born in San Francisco, he moved to London in the Sixties and took up knitting after visiting a Scottish wool mill. He has written several books and has appeared on numerous TV shows, including This Morning and The Homes Show. To book a place at the lecture visit www.ladysewandsew.co.uk
