MORE than 30 children attended an art club in Charvil over the Easter holidays.

Busy Brushes was held at Charvil Piggott Primary School on three days last week.

The children made their own creations based on the work of three well–known artists – Henri Matisse, Vincent Van Gogh and Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky.

The sessions were run by Clare Wills and Andrea Cranmer, teachers at the Colleton Primary School in Twyford with help from Mrs Wills’ husband Nick.

Mr Wills said: “It went fantastically well and we had some really good feedback from parents. This is the first time Clare and Andrea have done this and we had more and more children each day.”

Busy Brushes will run more sessions in the summer holidays. For more information, email busybrushesartclub@gmail.com
